Volatile oxygen scavenger that works faster than catalyzed hydrazine.

Description:

COS-91 I is a safe to use catalyzed oxygen scavenger that works in high purity feed water, where dissolved solids must be low. Excess COS 911 in the feed water is carried over with steam into the condensate system, protecting the entire boiler systen from corrosion. COS-91 I works by stopping oxygen corrosion in boiler systems wider wet stand by conditions.

Feed Requirements:

The level of dissolved oxygen will determine the feed rate of COS-911.

Method of Feed:

Feed COS-91 1 continuously to the storage section of the deaerator or to the condenser hot well. Feed COS-91 I directly to the boiler or steam header to protect the condensate system.

Control:

System pFI control, with trace iron, copper and dissolved oxygen is the best method to select the optimum feed level.
